best pollution

I was stumblingupon and I arrived to this:

Which is a creative competition to redesign the British Petroleum logo as a protest against the oil spill.

I believe that the protest against the BP oil spill has been the most creative in the past few years. Along with the re-branding contest, there's also the twitter account http://twitter.com/BPGlobalPR created to "
get BP's message and mission statement out into the twitterverse!" which I'm pretty sure it was created by different people... The point is that the world seems to be finally waking up. That it's starting to understand that masses of people standing in the sun with fliers and speakers do not have the same effect it did back in the 60's.

Efficient protest is no longer just about getting mad and saying that you're not going to take it anymore. It's about choosing your words, choosing the media, the target, the timing, it's about creating something that will ignite thoughts in people's minds.

I'm not going to take this anymore!
